finished!
The rag quilt that I’ve been busying myself with has been completed. The worst part was sewing the rows together. I don’t have a walking foot so it was a slow and painful process. The cutting of the “rags” wasn’t so bad, but it took three washes to even get them to start looking the part.

In addition to the lint trap in the dryer being full, I had to shake out the blanket outside to free all the little fabric bits from the edges. And even that didn’t get them all. If you make one of these, I suggest you have a good vacuum cleaner, because those little bits of loose strings are going to get EVERYWHERE. On your carpet…

on your dog…

on your boyfriend…

And if the blanket is the only thing in your washing machine when you wash it, your machine may attack you. Here’s how mine reacted:
It looks beautiful – I love it!!!
