banananana cake

I made a cake. Got the recipe from Love and Olive Oil. It’s banana cake with pecan filling.
I had some trouble with it. I burned the first batch of pecans and had to make another one. And the ganache filling separated (think I beat it too long) so I tossed it and started over, but I didn’t have enough cream left over for the frosting, so it’s skimpy.
BUT DELICIOUS.
I had a piece this morning to make myself feel better after bombing a phone interview.

OOOOOOOH, my goodness, this cake looks absolutely luscious! I forgot how good banana bread/cake tastes so good…I must leave my bananas to ferment.
I only used 1/4 cup of mashed banana, but the flavor is definitely there. =)
